The organizers behind the Al-Mahdi are young students who have long worked to find a place for young Muslims in Stockholm! All work of the association is done voluntary.

Al-Mahdi idea is to create a meeting place for young Muslims in central Stockholm, where all activities are held in a language understod by youths in Sweden today. The objective of Al-Mahdi youth center is to be located central, to suit all Muslims and not be limited to a specific suburb, which makes communication and access for visitors easy. The idea of a local in central Stockholm is to create an oasis for young people, an oasis they can turn to to find peace and quiet and find like-minded brothers and sisters.
